![]() Can I remove or add codecs? Remove a codec then play the file. On her computer I play the file with Window Media Player (WMP) can I check what codec is currently being used? Sysinternals Process Explorer has a lot of information for each process. So is there a way to see what codec WMP is using. Now did she install something else to get the file to play? The she does not have a codec pack installed. But what is killing me on this is that one of my other coworkers can play the file. The info is as follows: Format: G.723.1 Codec ID: A100 Format settings, Endianness: Little Duration: 10mn 3s Bit rate: 5328 bps Channel(s): 1 channel Sampling rate: 8000 Hz Stream size: 393 Kib (100%) I'm using Windows 7. ![]() Yeah I used the program to get as much information from the file as I could.
